Goodnight friends! Heavy pall of grey began to break late in the morning, long ruler-straight shadows slowly limned in beneath the trees and a fresh bright breeze smelling of apple and stone and water began scouring the sky blue. By mid-afternoon the world flamed azure with canopies of stained glass leaves, emerald and gold, only ragged, spiralling thin white ribbons of cloud.
A somewhat draining day that I was very grateful wasn’t a rainy one too, spending most of my energy dealing with the fallout of my boiler failing. Fortunately it hasn’t got really cold at all yet, and I have good enough relationships with my neighbours that I could ask to duck over next door for a shower. If this had happened a few days back when my memory was half-lost to fog I’m not sure I would have had the presence of mind to manage arranging for repairs &c.
May we find a renewed sense of confidence in our ability to grow, discover and understand today!
