Goodnight friends! A day of two dramatically separate halves, the first a constant dead-channel hiss of murky grey slanting rain. Seemingly the clouds exhausted themselves over early afternoon, and by 2pm an encroaching pale silvery light was surging and swelling into copper, then gradual drowsy gold. The ground is hard and thirsty here, and dries out quickly. Another sibilance, of dry leaves swashing and sighing against each other.
Left worn out by the damp start, I felt scattered and weak for a long time, and only gradually gathered enough energy to get out of bed, but my momentum did slowly gather.
May we find a deeper sense of tranquility and self-confidence today!
