Good afternoon friends! A cold exhalation of a long-held breath, as low gloomy clouds finally begin to give up their rain in a drizzle of slow, fat grumbling drops.
A tumultuous & painful day emotionally, last night someone snuck into our flat through the garden & stole my ipad. Helplessness, shame, anger on top of the normal confusion & physical malaise–looking for & finding little sparks of gratitude as our neighbours did all they could to help. Felt too weak to go walking today, but in the garden are the magnificent candy-red leaves of Japanese creeper, one of the first plants that entranced me when we came to live here.
