Goodnight friends! Sun and buffeting winds scented by grass and the tarry, gritty sweetness of heated tarmac and concrete, an almost uncannily bright and beautiful summer day. Wild and domestic roses all upturned and unfurling, seeming to fill with coloured sunlight like jewelled chalices.
My anxieties about the eventful weeks ahead are smoothing out into optimism and excitement as my plans firm up and I talk to more people about them. Annoyingly I had to use up a bunch of energy on flat admin again, just when I thought it would be relatively smooth going for a while.
