Goodnight friends! A little stuffy but expansive foamy half-blue skies let the sun blaze down like the weight of a giant’s firm hot hand across my shoulders, even at the tail end of the afternoon. Flecks of deep purple climb and climb as the grass grows tall and sweet and heavy-headed and wiry grappling tendrils of vetch clamber up after it. Cathedral arches of sycamore and linden trees filling in their canopies make towering kaleidoscope of endless shifting green on green on glittering green.
Deeply weary with well earned exhaustion, speckled with a new crop of kittle bruises. Barely managed to leave my bed until the swelter of midday was done with, and still shaky-wobbly the rest of the day. Fortunately as the temperature dipped a little the air felt drier, and still warm enough to feel like a salve. My girlfriend dropped by for a gentle date night at to help me take car efo some household tasks.
May we find moments of joy and gratitude in our lives today!
