Good evening friends! If anything even warmer and brighter today, woken by the gutteral hum of lawnmowers and tinny ice cream van music. Endless shining golden beds of celandines, trails of ants swarming across white scraps of ivy-leaved speedwell and garlic mustard. Apple blossoms aromatic in the heat. Steams bubble and splash as darkly glistening frogs half-slither, half-scramble through thickety mats of pennywort and last yearms blanched, fallen reeds.
Slept better, feeling more together and relaxed. Along with the fine weather, cutting back on physical activities somewhat on my ‘in-between’ non exercise days has helped me make little pockets of time to draw.
May we find communities where we’re valued and celebrated today, and find ways to value and celebrate each other!
