Goodnight friends! Grimy grey morning and evening with a glinting-sharp interlude of clear skies and brilliant afternoon sun dazzling between the black branches of the still-bare trees. Cold throughout, dipping into low single digits and the wid that broke the clouds for a while was blistering. Silent rain to start, a thin whisper, but a heavier, harder slow irregular drumming after nightfall.
Heavy post-exercise fatigue, some lingering exhaustion from the cold maybe, possibly a little deconditioning. I eventually got up mid-afternoon, in fortunate time to catch the little sun we had, and after some more recuperating was able to have a slow and leisurely, somewhat groggy cooking date with my girlfriend.
