Goodnight friends! Reaching 26 or 27°c, tarmac streets and walls feeling almost hot to the touch after a few hours of unrelenting sun. Yellow oat grass and short, bright gold sweet vernal grass whisper dryly, ragwort flowers beginning to open. Even a few yew twigs seem to be blanching in the intense light.

The difficulty for this recovery period is to drag my expectations of my pace way down and trust the signals my body, not push my way through things. Less pain today, or at least not so continually.

May we find new experiences and awaken new passions today!
