Goodnight friends! Simmering intensity increasing, temperature still floating around 27°c and growing a little cloudier again, fishscale clouds more opaque and tightly packed. Air glutted with damp heat, walls and railings and pavements throbbing faintly with warmth. Heat-dazed pigeons notice my approach only belatedly, exploding up into the air with softly whooping effortful wingbeats.
Feeling weak and slightly melted after hot weather exercise, though no particular aches or pains – just generally dazed and very exhausted. A definite heavy rest day.
