Goodnight friends! No rain, and a partial respite from grey skies as the afternoon cleared up. The ground already felt dry but a pretty damp, clammy atmosphere persisted with humidity above 80%. Hawksbeards mostly gone to unkempt, fluffy white pappus seedheads, snowberries swelling, bindweed twining luxuriously through chain link fences.
A fairly typical recovery day, lethargic and with stiff muscles, but in good spirits and able to muster short periods of familiar, safe activity. Feeling relieved that so far there hasn’t been the kind of major crash I’d anticipate if a relapse was still lingering. A slow comfortable evening in with my girlfriend, making chilli and watching TV.
May we find delight in discovery and learning today!
