Good evening friends! Clearer still today, a beautiful skyscape of pastel shades dissolving into one another, cut by the sharp geometries of gulls flashing black and silver where the sun catches the tips of their wings. The little spits of woodland lining the meadows glow like copper in the slow heavy light of evening that gets tripped and caught on every branch and bramble while jays laugh harshly, sparking into momentary blue as they vanish.
One day not really doing it for recovery still, hard going to get out of bed and move a little. Committed to doing a little something though – stretching and a short walk may be most of my day’s strength, but it keeps me feeling ready and hopeful for better ones.
