Good evening friends! Bad sleep again, fitfully wakeful and achey all night from intermittent rain. Expermentally cut my planned walk short which helped a bit but a persistent malaise still clung to me all day, flattening my mood and draining my scarce stamina.
The end of the temporary otherworld of snow for now it seems, only a few small, lonely crisp islets and the folorn collapsed dolmen remains of snowmen left. The sky a gauzy grey caul, pearlescent hints of muted colour showing through.
May we find unlooked-for moments of joy all around us today!
