Goodnight friends! Greyer and hazier, though the false-spring warmth got as high as 15°c, with the bustling wind quieting down and clouds gathered in tall, mottled pewtery swirls. Plenty of pale blue veins running between them though, and soft but clear shadows swam across the grass between patches of daffodils and azure squills opening to reveal their pale cream centres. Scrabbling claws and springing grey blurs of squirrels among the branches.
A fairly heavy but standard recovery day, struggling to slope out of bed until late in the afternoon, generally heavily fatigued but feeling relatively loose and mobile thanks to the mild weather and the brief gap in the rain. Luxuriated in still having a little sunlight after 5pm for a brief walk, then a relaxed dinner date with my girlfriend.
May we find patience, quiet and tranquility today!
