Goodnight friends! Pretty chilly, and thick damp air made it feel even colder. Morning fog, which sadly I was too groggy and exhausted to appreciate, and some thin bare prickles of drizzle later on. Bruisy grey sky fading to purple as night came on, wet leaves reflecting chemical yellowish electric light, everything gleaming oily wet monochrome.
Fortunately I don’t think I re-jarred my neck at judo, even though we spent some time on triangle chokes. Everything feels about as it did before, a bit stiff and crunchy but gradually improving. My energy was tanked today though, unsurprisingly. I hauled myself upright in the early afternoon, which of course is also now the precipice of nightfall. I managed a very short walk, then snuggled up drowsily with my girlfriend who came over for our fairly regular dinner date.
May we find moments of shared gentleness and tranquility in our lives today!

There are glimpses of a violet night sky between the branches.
