Goodnight friends! A pale filmy haze of cloud to start, burned off well before midday by the remote and dazzling sun, leaving a stark, hugely blue sky yawning wide overhead until late afternoon, when clouds swarmed back overhead around dusk. Polishing gleam of sunlight and sharp, almost violet shadows cast everything into dramatic relief, colours made vivid and further intensified by the lensing droplets of overnight drizzle.
Feels like I’m recovering fairly well, working carefully at judo might have paid off. A lot of the day in beds till, but relatively cogent and able to get out for a little while the sun wa still up. Definitely flagging a bit by the evening, enough left for a very slow and gentle dinner date with my girlfriend.
