Goodnight friends! A lovely expansive atmosphere for longest night, chill not too deep and the hours of sunlight we got were acidly sharp and bright. Sky not clear, but clouds swiftly broke into jigsaw chunks and tattered ribbons, leaving broad, glassy expanses of pale colour.
The day, as short as it was felt expansive too, I spent the afternoon and evening with my girlfriend – going out to visit a cafe, walking in woodland a little, eating and talking and laughing together. It still feels effortless and daydreamy, like every date is a holiday.
