Goodnight friends! A warmer and mostly dry day, at least during daylight hours, something of a relief. Wan, washed-out light through layer on layer of thin cloud, windswept but seemingly endlessly replaceable. Among all the desaturated gloom the dramatically bright yellow surprise of a single celandine flower, far ahead of spring. It must have been sheltering beneath the dense little dome of cyclamen foliage and taken a chance at the first span of a few mild-seeming hours. After dark an ocean hiss of rain rose, a slow pulse and throb of noise sluiced against the windows by gusts.
Pretty poor sleep, and a heavy, exhausted haze over my thinking made worse by the constant distracted alarm buzz of pain. Stayed fairly motionless until mid-afternoon, slowly buidling strength and resolve. Managed a short walk just before night started to really close in.
May we find ways to communicate our feelings and needs clearly today, and listen to each other with open hearts!
