Goodnight friends! Rumpled sheet of a greasy grey sky has cleared for now, clumping up into columns of drifting sugarloaf cumulus. A further afield walk, along a stream bordered by thickets of pink deep-throated Himalayan balsam, their teardrop seedpods ready to pop with spring-loaded force at a moment’s notice.
Sleep already back out of joint, a struggle with colder damper nights just starting to come on. Feeling creativity return in face, hopping back between writing and drawing for several piecemeal hours this afternoon.
