Goodnight friends! Thinner, more regular spatterings of periodic rain beneath a dull, pale still sky. A little sticky from time to time, but generally cooler temperatures kept the humidity from feeling too suffocating. The birches, early to spring in to leaf are now early to drop, a scattering of yellow leaves knocked loose by raindrops strewn across sodden grass.
My girlfriend came over today for the first time in a while, after a few weeks of events in a row, so I had that lovely sensation again of the whole day having a particular purpose and centre, preparing the house and decidingbon dinner etc. Tired now, but warmed and content.
May we find acceptance and hope in every disappointment today!
