Goodnight friends! A temporary respite from mugginess came with a quiet shower of soft rain in the morning. Overall though despite the temperature falling back below 20°c humidity is high, a gummy feeling to the air. Diffuse jammy sweetness of ripening blackberries on the damp breeze.
Exhausted after another night of broken sleep and aching joints, all on top of the acid, dead battery sensation of exhausted muscles. A fairly relaxed day all told, pain all feeling in a familiar register and no particular sense of deep distress or alarm. Rest was necessary and easy, and I had a lot of help thanks to visits from family and my girlfriend that took the burdens of food and household tasks off my shoulders.
