Goodnight friends! About 15°c again, with a ghostly gauze of occasional cloud cover. Luxurious inky shadows, flashes and luminous mists of green as birch leaves begin to bud in dense sapling thickets. Neat, conical ring-shaped mounds of reddish sandy earth thrown up by the nest holes of tawny mining bees, their black heads and fox-orange striped abdomens flecked with grains of soil.

Recovering pretty well, less vertigo and no major muscle twinges. Head feeling a little empty, sometimes finding myself going through processes in a not totally unpleasant daze. A lot of rest through mid-afternoon, then a little walk and meal-prep dinner night with my girlfriend.

May we listen and learn with patience, compassion and openness today!
