Goodnight friends! Strong winds, rising from a susurrus to a blustery jangle of cymbals. Trees bucked beneath a solid sky of swiftly surging, morphing bands of grey. Hogweed stubbornly bursting with new frill-edged leaves, scrimshawed with the wriggling white mazes left by leaf-boring flies. A brindled fox started out of the undergrowth ahead of me, turning to watched me watching it with casual wariness once I failed to give chase.

Mostly resting and recovering, a little stiff, a little dazed, pacing myself cautiously. Quite a bit of low-stakes, low brainpower required drawing. Not cold yet really at all, but enveloped by a deep phantom sensation of a chill.

May we find a sense of connection and belonging today!
