Goodnight friends! A few mostly brief squalls of thin pattering rain, but mostly the mixed and swirling skies of yesterday with bright blue windows and flashes of inferno-orange brilliance persisted. Leaves repeatedly soaked and dried and trodden underfoot starting to lose their colour and compact into burnished-smooth carpets. After dark the pop and boom and sizzle and twinkling comets of Diwali fireworks in the splashed across the murky violet night.
My sleep for now seems like it might continue displaced, painful and fitful for a little while. Waking at last, late and sore, I rallied very slowly and decided ro narrow my focus down to a small and specific goal of keeping up with judo. Rested and slowly stretched through the afternoon, and ended up having a pretty okay class.
May we find new ideas and new paths to learning opening up for us today!
