Goodnight friends! Very wet all day again, mostly with a fine even drizzle that ocassionally hissed and bit hard when cold wind gusted up. Pale sparkles from leaves metallic-slick or pearled by moisture. Lots of foxes after dark, sidling or darling from shadow to shadow, water-beaded fur silvery in flat white electric light.
Spending the day slowly, making sure I had energy left to spend at judo. Feels early in the year, but already the colder, wetter weather overall leaves me feeling drained faster and fatigue feels heavier as it sets in. We did a bit of total beginner instruction again, feeling the benefit of having to find ways to explain things simply.
May we find space for stillness, quiet and calm in our lives today!
