Goodnight friends! Heavy wet feeling to the air, pale and murky clouds shot through with thin ribbons of surprising blue. Scattered patches of staticy light drizzle to begin the day, feeling fairly fresh between. By the darkening afternoon a steady rain started up, a slow crescendo to a persistent driving rattle in the dark.
Joints and nerves starting to habituate, at least a little, to the damp and cold, so not feeling as beaten down by this weather as I would have been last month I think. Slightly better sleep again too, hopefully levelling out. Committed myself to judo today if my joints were doing okay, so that was today’s main energy outlay – ended up being a less intense class with a few newcomers, which I’m perfectly fine with.
May we accept and find joy in the winding, unexpected paths life takes us down today!
