Goodnight friends! A dour, humid rainy day. Endless hours of staticy grey rain, thin but dense, occasionally spurred into brief, seething diagonal torrents by sudden gusts. Managed a brief walk during a break in the showers. All the silver heads of orchard grass were doubly slivered with droplets, a few steps into the wild grass soaked me to the knee.
A lot of pain in my body today, spreading out from my joints in great red feverish waves. Definitely a combination of post exertional malaise and the dramatic drop in pressure. Long half-dreaming absences, doing very little and waiting things out. Skipping judo ended up being basically a non-decision. Not done with the busy summer period of adventures though. Another full rest day tomorrow, which should help, then off to the queer camping weekend – though for a lot of it of it honestly I will probably still be doing not much, just in my girlfriend’s hi-tech tent.
