Goodnight friends! Still getting colder, and feeling it too, harsh intermittent gusts of chill wet wind scraping my cheeks. Swift lancing slashes of bright cold sunlight as clouds race across the sky, heavy and grim along the horizon where evening rain lurks. Pattering scratch of squirrel claws on ivy-scarred fences. Daffodils all ducking their shy frilled snouts towards the sinking sun and away from the blistering wind.

Definitely feeling like I’m over the worst of this brief snap of a cold now, though sadly not quite well enough that I wouldn’t have made a grim and extremely unhygenic spectacle wheezing and sneezing on my training partners. Instead a long slow bundled up walk and a leisurely, slightly fatigue-dazed afternoon.

May we find courage and our efforts to challenge ourselves rewarded today!
