Goodnight friends! Felt on the edge of scorching today, the cloud-dappled pale blue sky seeming washed out across half the horizon by the high broad blaze of the sun, temperature hovering around 28°c most of the day. Stepping onto concrete pavements, or even away from the green-dappled shade of tree and meadow, was a chore. The air smells of gooey green heat.
Back to judo, thankfully feeling just about back to full mobility and relative health. A pretty intimidating day for exercise since the sports hall was sweltering. Took the day slow and drank a lot of water, somehow got through it basically in one piece.
May we find and offer gentleness and safety today!
