Goodnight friends! Sky pale eggshell blue and mostly clear, 24°c and dry. Dense grass, half swallowing gravestones in a sea of pale gold, sighed and swayed in a soft warm breeze. After just a few days away the furrows of my slow daily strolls beginning to narrow. Every third or fourth lolling seedhead seemed to bear the glinting red cabochon of a ladybird prowling for aphids.

Body feeling stretched and twisted and crudely half-undone with pain, thickness of post exertional malaise merging fatigue and neuralgia into one gluey mass. Unreal sense of dislocated nervy hugeness, my body feeling oversized the way a painful tooth does in the mouth. Drifting semi-alert a lot of the day, gradually becoming mobile in the early evening. Fortunately the long, balmy days of summer are ideal for me when recuperating, and I managed to shuffle around outside a little bit. Feeling happy for what I could accomplish.

May we find patience and quiet calm today!
