Goodnight friends! Heavy, spongy humidity and dark oily puddles from overnight showers beneath a lidded grey sky. 18°c but feeling unpleasantly warmer. Wasps in their beautiful yellow lamellar armour all over the snowberry flowers. As murky plum evening turned to night rain came on again, a fine swirling bloom of droplets in the air that hung like sparkling fog in lamppost beams.
Took things slow and felt okay energy-wise for judo, although the sodden air really made the session a chore by the end. Worked on fundamentals this evening – making a note here as a reminder to myself that one of them was the cross-collar strangle, which is why I’ll wake up with a slightly sore throat.
