Goodnight friends! Cooler, wetter weather, sky a low and turbid grey. Around 17°c but not really feeling much cooler in the stuffy atmosphere. Hours long stretches of pinprick-fine light drizzle, a silent static haze dimming the dark green trees. Little birds hop and flutter, plucking seeds from the lopped-short grasses. A few orange berries on single antenna stalks sharply contrasting with the purple flowers of the matrimony vine.
Despite the damp I felt generally better and more at home in my body again today, feeling the ramp up of recovery. Spent the afternoon gradually stretching out, getting ready for judo. Slow and measured going, appreciating what I could do and trying to be respectful of
