Goodnight friends! A wet and gloomy morning, rain coming down in heavy stuttering bursts and fresh wavering brown puddles re-filling the potholes. Gradually the clouds exhausted themselves for the day, leaving a last few thin spatters of drizzle as they dissolved into thin cirrus veils. Questing bristly threads of setae stretch out from mats of moss towards the wavering sun, tipped with tiny reddish brown sporophyte capsules.

Starting slow and a bit dazed, needing a lot of rest. Gradually resetting my sleep schedule, not without continuing hiccups from pain. A few episodes of mild dizziness and vertigo today, so sat out of a bunch of judo, but felt like I made one or two tiny steps forward.

May we recognise and respect both our strengths and or limitations today!

Photo of a lawn daisy, extremely bedraggled-looking with thin white petals mostly missing and the remainder half twisted, bent or knocked askew, but still blooming with a humped centre of bright yellow florets.
