Goodnight friends! A very wet and dull morning, several long hours of fairly constant rain that gradually petered in the early afternoon. Around 9°c, but feeling colder in the wet. Rain beaded in softly shining drops on the thorns and few remaining crimson berries of hawthorn hedges, formed pearly strings on lax leaves of wild grass, lent an extra layer of gloss to dripping ivy. Fortunately things slowly cleared up, tarnished pewter skies letting a little brightness through.
A lethargic morning after sleeping badly, pangs of chilly pain in my joints. After a short, sodden walk I had some admin calls for my last round of trial medication, which is seeming very placebo-ish so far, none of the odd symptoms that came along with the first active trial period. Took a long time to drag myself upright after that and get out to judo, where I’m gradually trying to raise my participation which keeping things sustainable, which is a bit of a trial and error process.
May we grant each other, and ourselves, grace and compassion today!
