Good afternoon friends! A brief spate of rain and skies still intermittently grey, but overall a far more mild and expansive day, seeming like another clear portent of spring. Colours sing out clear – the tangled mounds of bare barbed wire blackberry runners purple, undergrowth of dead ferns a deep firey russet, hawthorn buds concentrated pinpricks of vibrant pink.

Feels like the enforced day of rest yesterday did me some good, already back to more reliable mobility. Seems sensible to hold to my regular restful Tuesdays anyway, so just a short outing to look at a nice log.

May we find and take opportuniites to help and nurture each other wherever we can today!
