Goodnight friends! A still, tepid and gloomy start, wind dying off and heavy cumulus ramparts sinking down, casting a breathless pall over the trees. The traffic hiss around here and the wide grey vistas made the world world feel rolled out flat and thin. Fortunately afternoon brought a great slow inbreath, renewed breezes and a fresh blue stir of dissolving speckled cloud.
I think I’ve fully bounced back now, or near enough, impatient to fit myself back into a slightly more active schedule of walking and exercise again – which will be easier to do once I get home tomorrow and don’t have to re-balance my energy around the constant low level of extra strain incurred by coping with inaccessible surroundings.
May we find a sense of pride in what we’ve survived and accomplished today, and ambition to move forward!
