Goodnight friends! Not quite so warm – around 15°c mostly I think– but still bright and often cloudless with a sharp, graphic luminousity to the colours and long trailing shadows. One of those charming surprise encounters with a fox, catching each other around a blind corner and sharing a bemused stare, interrupted about our business by the animal shock of possible danger before recalling our quietly adjacent lives. First bluebells coming into bloom, pale lilac trumpets emerging from neat arrays of buds stacked like ears of wheat.

Anithe rgreat day for lounging and stretching outdoors. Felt well and confident enough to go to judo, though a little scatter-brained and uncoordinated on the mat, continuing poor sleep a likely contributor.

May we allow ourselves to fail and learn and grow today!

Photo of a red fox looking towards the camera, its coat looking mottled with patches of brindled black and grey, maybe as if moulting, and a small dark flash on its orange brow.
