Goodnight friends! More clouds shaped like feathers and ragged lace in a pale sun-washed sky. Flashes of gold among breeze-stirred canopies. Tonight the long skinny shadow shape of a fox flitted past my kitchen window, carved out of midnight by the honeyed glow of sulphurous security lights and a perfect straw-coloured half moon.

Heavy with a diffuse dragging net of fatigue again, everything needing to be done in cautious fits and starts. A little tedious, but the pain at least is mostly managable. Maybe just a general low-level relapse of some type connected to this insomniac streak.

May we find, and offer, moments of tenderness and welcome wherever we can today, even in the midst of difficulty!
