Goodnight friends! A sour and opressive start, waking painfully around midday under a lowering grey sky after a short and broken night’s sleep. Not feeling up to much movement I managed at length to sit up and reach for my tablet. Once I started drawing I was able to compartmentalise a little better, coming to my senses bit by bit.
Inauspicious weather early in the day, but over slow grey hours the sky broke open sliver by sliver, and the temperature rose a little too. By evening the atmosphere had a satiny balminess the morning could hardly have made seem less likely. Spur-sweet scents of decay and turned earth and fallen, fermenting apples.
May we find new joys, delights and inspirations in the familiar experiences and sensations of our everyday lives today!
