Goodnight friends! I’m sleepless again, a frequent pattern I tend to fall into more in cold wet weather, when heavy malaise makes it harder to use what scattered energy I have and my whole body begins to feel a little scraped raw from the inside out, every joint pain becoming more intense and grating. My ability to sit and focus has been declining too, not much drawing, not much writing.
All flavours of rain in alternating rhythms, frying pan hiss and silent misty grey haze and swelling rattle, falling from a heavy leaden sky and brightly scattered piebald clouds. Wet rosehips and gleaming holly berries, both turning vibrant crimson, have an almost metallic shine.
May we find moments of serenity and calm in our lives today!
