Goodnight friends! Air and grass both drier today, cobwebs no longer strings of glassy beads and tired grass stems released for now from their weight of pearl droplets. Some sharpness still on the breeze but not enough to bend the spines of the poplars and back up above 10°c, nearly 13°c in the least dingy hrey hours of the afternoon. Scrape and scuttle and skitter of squirrels fighting over the best trees, looping the trunks in roundabout skirmishes, sweet trills of robins in the holly.

Harsher nights getting harder to sleep through, so unpacking the electric blanket for a bit of gentle, cost-effective warmth was one of today’s little tasks. It wore me out quite a bit, still feeling some lingering fatigue and muscle pangs. Otherwise fairly quiet, apart from a follow-up preliminary blood draw visit since the medical trial lab didn’t get all they wanted last time.

May we find ways to reach out to support and strengthen our bonds of community today!
