Goodnight friends! A pale greyish morning, but clearing before long into a cold, sharp, glassy-edged clear day. Clouds heavy, wide and pillowy with portentous charcoal bellies but strewn about and not seeming to gather together. Lawns studded with innumerable little yellow mushrooms like spilled lemon drops. Swiftly sinking sunlight gave the whole afternoon a golden lethargic light, shadows streaming out long and purplish.
Pressed down for a while by an absurd lead weight of fatigue, and barely moving before midday again. Eventually mobile enough for a short and plodding walk, enough to get a little sun on my face. I think I’m getting somewhere. I feel like being able to be so still and freely drowse after habituating myself to a slightly higher average base energy level has given me a pocket of deeper rest to fall back into.
May we find a sense of calm patience and acceptance today!
