Goodnight friends! Dizzy expanse of pale blue, glittering with ice. Everywhere I look inlaid in silver granules of frost, or else brazed and gilded by the distant cool citric blaze of heatless sunlight. The zigzag tangled writhing branches of bare poplars looked like some kind of luridly yellow coral.
Definitely sluggish from cold, my thoughts dissolving soggily at the least provocation. Energy slips through my fingers so readily, and returns so slowly. A few bits of admina nd house work completed though, bit by bit I’m still moving forward.
