Goodnight friends! A mixed day of brightness and drizzle and bluster, the skies alternately clear and gauzily scaled and gloomy swirling violet grey. A little warmer and less humid overall, tentacular spikes of foxgloves wallowing in the passing sun, bees drowsing head-deep in sapphire green alkanet flowers. As dark descended the vanishing staccato shapes of bats flitted and flickered across the purple clouds.
I’m camping! Maybe a bit reckless after all my recent fatiguing adventures, but its been a gentle, accessible and regenerative environment so far. The site is reserved for a queer camping weekend and many of us are disabled or unwell, so there are a lot of amenities and adjustments, and personal support.
May we find determination to work together for a better future today!
