Goodnight friends! Sky returned to an oppressive soupy grey, rain driven down clattering on a sharp diagonal by hard-edged gusts, cold but still carrying the scents of flowers and nettley growth behind the iron odour of damp. Meadows shivered and hissed, birds silent.
A mildly baffled sense of relief dominating my emotional landscape for now, as I finally got my vaccine appointments. The otherwise normal time between now and then has kaleidoscoped out into a huge, indecipherable gulf that I’m trying not to think of as a whole. Exercise was a great sore slow effort, most of the day’s stamina spent in one go, but my mind is so scattered I still I had to check back to make sure I had actually done it.
May we find a sense of centred calm and acceptance of reality as it is today!
