Goodnight friends! I thought from the forecast this cold, wet overcast week would be total misery to be out in, but I’m so glad to have been mistaken. Instead gloom and showers are frequent presences but swept over in short order by rough and blustery but fresh-tasting winds, towering or ribbon-thin clouds roiling and shifting. Some light snow unable to stick in the early morning, several grey episodes of drizzle, but by mid afternoon there were enough clear skies and sunlight to faintly warm the blossoms and spread a sap-sweet scent on the air.

Temperatures plummeting overnight and damp don’t do my sleep schedule any favours though, and I woke in dizzy pain a few times overnight. Bleary and foggy during the day, picking away at tiny bits of progress on household tasks and projects.

May we work to communicate with patience, clarity and compassion today!
