Goodnight friends! Recovering from the chill and mild cold I caught while camping has thankfully flown by, only two or three really worn-out, stuffy days when breathing was a chore. My chest felt very slightly raw at times but otherwise I feel mainly over it, and only dealing with the deeper, but more basic and familiar post-exertion malaise of the past few weeks. I did a tentative and very reduced workout, both to feel things out and reintegrate myself into the groove of my routine.
Muggy and damp again in the day, some spates of whispering misty rain from a flat, desaturated sky. Only the long, lavender evening brought out some freshness and colour, fluttering ash branches tumbling against each other, thickets of tall meadow buttercups nodding in chorus.
May we find time, space and freedom to engage in unselfconscious play today!
