Goodnight friends! Cooling down, an immense long wet day of endless rainy hours. Sometimes drizzle, but for stretches thick and heavy enough that the noise of it swallowed up raindrops to become a single vast oceanic swash. The sky a finely striped geologic slate grey, a soft satin shine to every leaf and stem.

I managed a brief walk ducking in between showers, and a few little bits of drawing. Despite damp redoublibg my joints pains I’m encouraged to be entering the ‘pottering about’ stage now, of being able to quarter-complete small tasks before my body starts to sag and rebel.

May we deepen our connections to community and loved ones today!
