Goodnight friends! Mild silvery greyness with occasional chilly whispers of wind briefly opening the clouds, feeling even cooler after last weekend’s balmy mid-20°s. Toadflax and columbine, frilly double-petalled roses and other garden stalwarts coming into full swing, serviced by fleets of clumsily bustling bees.
Some of our plans have unfortunately been disrupted by my girlfriend unluckily coming down with COVID. She’s feeling very run down and fluey, and I feel twisting pangs of being unable to help her. It seems likely that I was exposed too – I haven’t noticed much that seems like it could be symptomatic so far but I’m trying to be careful and seeing what comes up.
May we find a sense of serenity and acceptance today, allowing us to release ourselves from responsibility for things beyond our control!
