Goodnight friends! Mostly clear skies, a vivid, velvety purpleish blue. Thermometers reading about 3°c, but frost is sticking stubbornly and a harsh, scouring wind keeps it feeling very cold. Moon swelling in the violet evening sky, with the quivering bright point of Venus as its handmaiden.

Some sharp pangs of delayed onset muscle soreness sidling up on me today, on top of the regular numb, weighty insomniac ache of the cold. A bit of a pottering day, not much spare energy but kept anything from slipping too far back as well as I could. Managed to slide in a little drawing time, too, at least for short stretches I can feel a little aleet amd engaged.

May we grant ourselves and each other compassion amd understanding today!
