Good evening friends! More grey, unsettlingly featureless skies and spates of heavier, more determined rain bringing a different kind of murky haze to the air. Streams churning a deep rusty brown and bursting banks again already, the ground squeaking, slurping and seeming to writhe and squirm underfoot as if impatient to be free from heavy human footfalls.
Still not quite got my sleep back on track so I went through a bit of exercise and a walk in a slowly ebbing aching haze. More or less autopilot for most of today – just how it has to be sometimes.
